Cambridge Consulting Network is the University of Cambridge’s principal student consulting group. Founded in 2012, CCN aims to solve real world challenges for companies ranging in size from F500 to startups, all while giving students the opportunity both to develop their consulting skillset and get an invaluable insight into the most exciting industries today.

Our Mission

A society designed for future consultants
CUCS is the only student society for aspiring business consultants.

CUCS is run by and for its student members in a constructive environment aimed to fully equip them with the skills needed for their consulting careers. This is achieved through case-practice workshops and competitions run by professional consultants. In collaboration with the Cambridge Consulting Network (CCN), we offer students hands-on experience of management consulting. We pair talented students up with organisations to solve a real business problem, giving you the chance to make a real impact on a real organisation, and gain international exposure. In the past, students on CCN projects have helped start-ups get off the ground, worked with a private equity firm to set up an office in Indonesia, and partnered with social enterprises to maximise their impact. Whether you’ve already got consulting, business or leadership experience, or if you’re a consulting beginner, CUCS and CCN have a program suitable for you.

  • GOAL #1

Educate members about consulting and different types of consulting they should consider; provided by evening lecture sessions on internal, external, strategy, operations, financial, and environmental consultancy.

  • GOAL #2

Help our members with their interview preparation: provided by intensive case study practice sessions with MBA students and recruiters.

  • GOAL #3

Provide opportunities to develop business skills necessary for consulting with business skills sessions and an extended case study competition.
